LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Ziggs win the lane through sustained poke and your E protecting Ziggs from Leona's CC — Leona cannot meaningfully engage if you keep your E ready, and Samira is too short-ranged to trade effectively; post-6, Leona's R is the primary threat, and your own R can be used to interrupt Samira's R channel or peel Leona off Ziggs, making the post-6 fight winnable if you react correctly.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to hold your Q for when Leona commits to an engage — a root on Leona after she uses E-Q means she is stuck in place and you can follow up with W for massive damage; keep your E on Ziggs as the default shield target since he is the primary carry, and only shift it to yourself if you are the one being dove.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should generally not roam early because Leona is a constant engage threat and leaving Ziggs alone against a Leona-Samira lane is dangerous — however, if you shove the wave hard with Ziggs and both enemies are low or have used summoners, a mid roam at level 6 with your R is viable; only roam when the wave is pushed and Ziggs has enough tools to survive briefly alone.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E reactively after Leona has already landed her stun — the Black Shield must be applied before the CC hits to negate it, so you need to anticipate Leona's engage rather than respond to it; pre-shielding Ziggs when Leona walks forward aggressively is the correct habit to develop.
