Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 through superior range and wave clear with W, but Zed becomes dangerous at level 6 with his all-in potential.
- Your Black Shield can block his W-E-Q combo, but if he gets close enough for multiple shurikens and Death Mark, you're in serious trouble.
How to Trade
- You should poke with W on the wave while hitting Zed, then use Q when he tries to trade back or engage.
- Never use Black Shield preemptively - save it for when you see his shadow clone or feel the Death Mark coming.
Wave Control
- You want to hard push early levels to deny Zed farm and roam opportunities, using W to clear waves quickly.
- After level 6, maintain distance and only push when you have vision of enemy jungler, as getting ganked without escape tools is death.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must never waste your Q on minions or use it predictably when Zed has his W available.
- Walking too far forward without Black Shield ready is suicide, as Zed can gap close faster than your binding travels.
