Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and wave control, as Yone lacks gap closers and must walk up to farm.
- Post-6 becomes more dangerous as his R gives him engage potential that can bypass minions, though your E can still block his knockup if timed correctly.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is Q into W when he steps up for CS, then back off immediately to avoid his Q3 engage.
- Never try to extended trade as his passive and Q stacking will outdamage you in melee range.
Wave Control
- Push waves early with W to establish priority and roam, but transition to freezing once he hits level 6 to deny him farm safely.
- Keep the wave on your side post-6 to have escape room when he uses R.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E preemptively or use it for poke damage, as it's your only protection against his R knockup and Q3 tornado.
- Missing your Q when he's in melee range often results in death since you have no other escape tools.
