LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you do not win the 2v2 unless you land W, because Yuumi's healing negates your Q-root poke pattern and Zeri can simply kite you out of range; a missed binding means you lose the trade.
- Post-6, your R becomes a genuine threat since Zeri cannot easily disengage through it if you position correctly, but Yuumi's detach-and-reattach behavior means you need to root Zeri specifically, not Yuumi.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to use E on Kai'Sa proactively to block Yuumi's Q poke, then look for a W binding on Zeri when she overextends to last-hit — once bound, Kai'Sa can stack passive and you follow with Q for the full damage combo.
- Never trade without your W available since your auto-attack damage is negligible and you will simply absorb poke for no return.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam when the wave is shoved and Kai'Sa can safely manage it, particularly after level 6 when your R can turn a mid skirmish decisively; Yuumi's presence in bot means your lane opponent is never truly alone, so roaming has higher value than staying in a sustained poke war.
- Optimal timing is after a successful binding-kill or summoner-burn forces Zeri to back, giving you a free roam window.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E to shield Kai'Sa during a losing trade hoping to sustain through it — Yuumi's healing output over a prolonged fight exceeds what your shield absorbs, and you will both end up low with no kill.
- Save E for blocking Yuumi's Q or Zeri's burst during an all-in, not as a poke-trade tool.
