Who Wins

  • You win pre-6 through Q pick potential and E blocking Amumu engage, but lose post-6 as Amumu R bypasses your E and enables Jinx to follow up.

Synergy & Trading

  • Land Q on either enemy then immediately E your ADC to prevent Amumu follow-up, allowing Jhin to follow with W and damage.
  • Use W on rooted targets to zone and maximize damage, but prioritize E timing over W damage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Roam after shoving waves when Jhin has item advantage or when mid/jungle skirmishes are developing.
  • Best roam timings are post-back with boots or when enemies recall, but avoid roaming if Jhin is behind or vulnerable to dives.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't use E preemptively against Amumu as his Q cooldown is shorter than your E, leaving your ADC vulnerable to follow-up engages.
  • Never miss Q on overextended enemies as it's your only reliable engage tool and cooldown is punishing.
