Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you and Ashe have the edge because your E shield directly counters Milio's engage tools and Aurelion Sol's Q stun, neutralizing their primary all-in setup — neither enemy has a level 1-3 spike that bypasses a well-timed E.
  • Post-6, Aurelion Sol's R becomes a serious threat because it can knock Ashe back into Milio's range and your E only protects one person, so you must prioritize shielding Ashe during any Aurelion Sol R cast.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to land Q on Aurelion Sol when he steps up to E the wave, then let Ashe follow up with W slow and auto harassment while he is rooted — Milio cannot heal fast enough to negate a clean Q into Ashe burst combo.
  • Save your E reactively for Aurelion Sol's Q or Milio's R rather than using it proactively, since losing the shield at the wrong moment removes your primary defensive tool.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should roam only when the wave is shoved and Ashe has enough health to survive a 1v2 briefly — Aurelion Sol's W roam speed is faster than yours, so matching his roams is generally not viable.
  • The best roam timing is after a successful kill or summoner burn in lane around level 6-7, when Aurelion Sol is forced to recall or farm, giving you a window to impact mid without abandoning Ashe to a dangerous 1v2.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your E on Ashe preemptively before Aurelion Sol commits his Q, because wasting the shield on a fake engage leaves Ashe completely exposed to the real all-in from Aurelion Sol's R into Milio healing.
  • Avoid standing close to Ashe when Aurelion Sol has R available, as a well-aimed R hits both of you and removes your ability to peel effectively while you are knocked back.
