Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades once you land E to pull Varus into melee range, as he cannot match your sustained damage with passive proc and Q follow-up.
- Post-6 you completely dominate since R forces him into melee range where he has no escape and you steal his stats for easy execution.
How to Trade
- Use E to pull Varus when he steps up for CS, then immediately Q for guaranteed hit and walk him down with passive stacks for the proc.
- Never chase without E available as good Varus players will kite you endlessly with superior range and mobility.
Wave Control
- Push waves hard with Q to force Varus under tower where he struggles to CS and poke simultaneously.
- Maintain minion advantage so when you land E, the minion damage combined with your combo secures kills or forces recalls.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste E on minions or use it when Varus has Flash available, as missing your only gap closer leaves you completely vulnerable to free poke.
