Synergy & Trading

  • Use Q to poke when Jinx steps up for CS, then immediately W Smolder for the shield and movement speed to disengage.
  • Your E should be saved for when Jinx commits with W or when Soraka tries to land Q for sustain.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should roam frequently as your kit provides excellent gank setup with Q slow and W utility.
  • Optimal timings are when Smolder has wave control and can solo farm, typically after successful recalls or when enemy bot is low.
