Who Wins
- Mel wins every stage of the lane as long as you avoid letting TF punish you with W or E-passive autos.
- You consistently chip him down with Q + autos during his attack animations, giving you prio and denying his early influence.
How to Trade
- Trade only when TF is mid-animation or stackless, using Q + auto then backing off before he can W stun or + auto you.
- At Level 2, Mel's W makes his W useless, reflect gold card, hit Q + auto, and repeat until he’s forced to recall or drops to kill range.
Wave Control
- Keep the wave near your tower so TF is forced to overextend, letting you punish every last-hit with Q poke and autos.
- Once he’s chunked to 60–70%, you can start controlling prio and pressure his roams by crashing or holding the wave as needed.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don’t waste W on his Q, you only use W for his gold card since that’s his entire trading value.
- Avoid extended auto-trades because TF’s E-attack speed will out-DPS you if you stay in range too long.
