Scuttle Contest
- You lose early scuttle fights due to Jax's E negating your auto attacks and Q damage while his W provides burst.
- From level 6, you can only win if you bait his E first or catch him with low health, as his R makes him extremely tanky in extended fights.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Jax will likely start his buff opposite to yours and look for a full clear into scuttle, as he wants to reach level 4 quickly for stronger skirmishes.
- He may also opt for a vertical jungle clear if he spots you on the opposite side early.
Invade or Not
- Avoid invading Jax early game as his E completely shuts down your damage output and he has better base stats.
- Your best opportunity is post-6 when you have R and can catch him low on health after his clear, but only if his E is on cooldown.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never engage Jax when his E is available, as it will negate most of your damage and stun you afterward.
- Don't try to out-duel him in river fights early game - focus on farming efficiently and looking for ganks instead.
