  • You lose early scuttle fights due to Graves' superior burst damage and E dash for repositioning.
  • From level 6, you can only win 1v1s if you perfectly time Q to dodge his Q burst and have items advantage or catch him with low health.

Predicted Jungle Path

  • Graves will likely start his buff opposite to yours and look for a full clear into scuttle contest or early gank.
  • He may also opt for aggressive vertical jungling to invade your jungle after clearing his side.

Invade or Not

  • Avoid invading Graves early as his Q+E+auto combo outdamages your early game significantly.
  • Your best opportunity is post-6 when he's low from jungle camps, but only if you can guarantee Q dodges his Q burst.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't fight Graves in narrow jungle corridors where his Q deals maximum damage from wall bounces.
  • Avoid face-checking bushes against him as his burst combo can kill you before you can react or Q away.
