- You win pre-6 through superior range and wave control, as Yone lacks gap closers and must walk through your minions to trade.
- Post-6 you still have the advantage since your R completely shuts down his engage attempts and forces him to build QSS.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is E-W-Q when he steps up for CS, then back away immediately to avoid his Q3-W combo.
- Never try to extended trade as his sustained damage and shield will win longer fights.
Wave Control
- Push waves constantly with W-E to force him under tower and deny his roaming potential.
- Keep the wave in the center or slightly pushed to maintain your range advantage and prevent him from setting up all-ins.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use your R aggressively without jungle help, as good Yone players will bait it then E back to safety.
- Avoid face-checking bushes after level 6 since his E-R combo can one-shot you if you're not positioned safely.
