  • You lose scuttle fights at level 3 due to Sylas having superior burst damage with Q-E-W combo and better sustain through W healing.
  • From level 6, you can only win 1v1s if you land R on Sylas when he's below 60% HP and follow up immediately with Q-W-E before he can heal with W.

Predicted Jungle Path

  • Sylas will likely start his buff opposite to yours and look for a full clear into scuttle, as he needs level 3 to have kill pressure.
  • He may also opt for a vertical jungle clear if he spots you starting on the same side to avoid early confrontation.

Invade or Not

  • You should not invade Sylas early as he outdamages you significantly in extended fights and has better escape tools with E.
  • Your only viable invade window is post-6 when you have R available and can catch him low HP after his clear, preferably at his krugs or gromp.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Avoid fighting Sylas in extended trades without your R available, as his W healing and passive auto-attack empowerment will out-sustain your damage.
  • Don't waste your Q poke when his W is available, as he can easily heal back the damage while clearing camps.
