Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through superior range and burst potential, as your Q-E-auto combo outranges his passive stars and can chunk him significantly.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes more even since his R provides strong all-in potential and knockback to disrupt your combos, but you maintain advantage if you land Q first.
How to Trade
- Look to Q-E-auto when he steps forward to last hit, then immediately back away to avoid his passive star damage and potential Q follow-up.
- Your goal is quick poke trades rather than extended fights where his passive stars and E stacks give him sustained damage advantage.
Wave Control
- Push waves quickly with E to match his shoving power and prevent him from roaming freely, but maintain distance from the wave to avoid his E execution damage hitting you.
- Focus on keeping the wave in center or slightly pushed rather than slow pushing, as he excels at collecting stacks from large minion waves.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't stand too close to dying minions when he has E available, as the execution damage and range increase from stacks can catch you unexpectedly.
- Avoid using your Q aggressively without vision of his jungler, since his W mobility makes him excellent at setting up ganks and his R can lock you down for follow-up.
