Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you lose most 2v2s because your Q-E combo is slower than Morgana's Q into Twitch's damage, and Morgana's spell shield blocks your key abilities.
  • Post-6, the matchup remains difficult as Morgana can black shield Twitch during your R channel, negating your burst potential.

Synergy & Trading

  • Use E to zone and slow enemies for easier Q angles, then follow up with auto-passive proc when safe, but avoid committing to full combos unless Morgana's E is down.
  • Your best trades come from landing Q when Morgana is out of position to shield, allowing you to proc passive with autos.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Roam mid or jungle when the wave is pushed and Morgana is low on mana, typically after she uses W to clear waves.
  • Your best roam timings are levels 6-9 when your R can secure kills, but only when Smolder can safely farm alone.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste Q on Morgana's spell shield or use it when she can easily block it for Twitch.
  • Never stand in minion waves where Morgana's Q hitbox is harder to read and her W can damage both you and your ADC.
