- Pre-6: Jhin-Nautilus wins through superior engage potential with Nautilus Q into Jhin W combo.
- Post-6: Even matchup as your R burst matches their kill potential, but Nautilus R makes picks easier for them.
Synergy & Trading
- Lead with E slow to enable Q binding, then immediately follow with passive auto if safe.
- Coordinate Q bindings with your ADC's rocket form for maximum poke damage, and use W shield reactively when Nautilus engages.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam when you have lane priority after successful poke trades, typically after forcing them to back or when they're low.
- Best timings are after shoving post-6 when your R can secure kills mid, or when jungle objectives are spawning.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use Q aggressively without vision of their jungler, as Nautilus can easily set up ganks if you're positioned forward.
- Never waste E for waveclear when Nautilus Q is available, as you need it to disengage his engages.
