Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you have even poke trading but lose if Brand lands W-Q combo due to his higher base damages.
  • Post-6 your R has longer range and lower cooldown, giving you better pick potential than Brand's AoE-focused ultimate.

Synergy & Trading

  • Use E to slow enemies, then Q for binding when they're movement-impaired for guaranteed hits.
  • Follow Jhin's W roots with immediate Q-E-R combo for maximum burst damage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Roam after shoving waves with E since you have better gank setup than Brand with longer range CC.
  • Look for roams at levels 6, 9, and after first back when you have mana items.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't use Q defensively unless necessary since it's your primary engage tool with much higher impact than Brand's Q.
  • Avoid standing close to Jhin where Brand R can hit both of you simultaneously.
