Pre-6, you and Caitlyn win the 2v2 — your E range and root duration create guaranteed headshot windows for Caitlyn that Soraka's W cannot fully negate across multiple trades.
Post-6, your R adds a long-range execute threat that Soraka's R cannot preemptively counter since she must guess when to cast it, and a well-timed Lux R after Caitlyn R is a reliable kill combo.

Your best trading pattern is to E both Soraka and Ezreal simultaneously when they are stacked, then let Caitlyn collect headshots while they are rooted — follow with your W shield on Caitlyn if Ezreal Q's back.
Avoid using E on a single target when you can hit both, as the double-root is the core reason this lane is favorable for you.
