LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you have a meaningful edge because your W hard counters his E-in aggression and your Q poke is safe at range; post-6 the matchup becomes more volatile since he can E onto you and R immediately, but your own R gives you a reliable escape or kill-denial tool that keeps you relevant in all-ins.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait his E with your positioning near minions, then immediately W when he lands to root him, follow with Q and E through him to deal damage and reposition behind him, denying his Q tornado setup; never let him stack Q freely from range because a fully charged Q into E onto you starts an all-in you may not survive.
Wave Control
- You want to control the wave by slow-pushing or freezing near your tower, which forces him to overextend to CS and exposes him to jungle ganks; your waveclear with Q is decent but not exceptional, so avoid mindlessly shoving because it gives him a free bouncing wave to windwall and farm safely.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R offensively on him unless his W is down, because he can immediately R you while you are immobile in your own R animation and deal his full burst damage with the execute threshold; save R as a defensive tool or use it only when you are certain he cannot follow up with his own R.
