Who Wins
- Pre-6 you lose most trades due to Lux's superior range and poke with E-auto combos that you cannot effectively answer.
- Post-6 you win all-ins if you can get in range, as your R provides guaranteed lockdown while Lux relies on hitting Q to survive your engage.
How to Trade
- Look for short E-W-Q trades when Lux uses abilities on minions, then immediately back off to avoid her return damage.
- Your best windows are when she steps forward to clear waves, allowing you to E onto her for a quick combo before she can react with Q.
Wave Control
- Push early levels with Q to get priority, then look to roam since you cannot effectively trade with her in lane.
- Focus on keeping waves in neutral positions where you can threaten E engages without being too far from your tower.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never E forward without vision of enemy jungler or when your flash is down, as getting caught in Lux's Q after using your gap closer means certain death.
