LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this lane clearly: your Q poke range exceeds Kassadin's threat range, your W punishes any walk-up attempt, and Kassadin has no sustain tool to offset your consistent chip damage.
- Post-6, the matchup becomes more volatile because Kassadin's R gives him a gap-close that bypasses your zoning, but your own R on yourself remains a hard counter to his all-in if used correctly.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to Q him whenever he walks up to last-hit, and if he tries to retaliate by walking toward you, immediately W to root him and disengage or extend the trade with E.
- Avoid extended fights at level 6+ unless you have a clear HP advantage, as his R-Q-E burst can delete you if you are below 60% HP.
Wave Control
- Freeze the wave near your tower in the early levels to deny Kassadin CS and force him into dangerous positions where your W root has maximum value.
- Once you hit level 6, you can consider slow-pushing to roam, but prioritize denying him a comfortable farm pattern over forcing roams, as Kassadin's roam post-6 is faster and more impactful than yours.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not waste your R offensively on Kassadin unless you are certain it secures the kill — your R on yourself is your primary survival tool against his all-in, and using it aggressively removes your safety net entirely.
- Kassadin players specifically bait Lissandra into burning R offensively before committing their own R.
