Who Wins
- Pre-6, Heimerdinger's turrets and W zone control make it nearly impossible for you to engage safely — you lose extended trades at all early levels because his turrets deal sustained damage while you're in melee range.
- Post-6, your R gives you a meaningful window to all-in him by instantly displacing him away from his turrets, which is the only reliable way to win a 1v1.
How to Trade
- Your best trade pattern is to Q him from max range to proc your passive, then immediately E onto him and R to pull him away from his turrets before using your full combo — fighting him while his turrets are active is a losing trade regardless of your combo order.
Wave Control
- Push the wave fast with Q to deny him safe turret placement, as his turrets are far less threatening when he's forced to last-hit under pressure rather than freely stacking them in lane.
- Avoid letting the wave slow-push toward you, as a stacked turret setup in a frozen wave near his tower is nearly unplayable for you.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk into his turret cluster to trade without your R available — his W beam combined with turret fire will chunk you heavily before you can deal meaningful damage, and you will lose that exchange even if you land your full combo.
