LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Kalista + Zyra win this lane — Zyra's level 2 spike with E+W is faster and more punishing than your Q poke pattern, and Kalista can freely stack rend while you are trying to set up.
- Post-6, your R sleep combo is a genuine kill threat, but Kalista's R can interrupt your engage or reposition Zyra to safety, so you need to land R on both targets simultaneously to actually win the fight.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to use Q to poke from the edge of its hitbox, then W to slow when they step up, and only commit to R when both enemies are close enough that the sleep hits both — a single-target sleep into a 2v1 situation loses the fight.
- Never use R as an opener from long range; walk into their backline with E first to close distance silently before casting R.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam — your R is one of the strongest roam tools in the game, and mid lane is highly vulnerable to a surprise sleep.
- Roam after a successful shove of the wave around level 6-7, and again whenever Jinx has enough items to hold the wave solo; a successful mid roam snowballs the game faster than winning a bot lane trade.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use E aggressively into Zyra's plants — running through plant zones while trying to engage means you take significant damage before your combo even lands.
- Zyra punishes your engage path hard, so always approach from an angle that avoids pre-placed seeds and roots.
