Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you have a strong level 2 spike (E into Q) that can force a flash or first blood if Senna is caught too far forward, but Senna's range means she will often be positioned safely enough to avoid it.
  • Post-6, you lose the 2v2 because Senna's R shields Jhin through your all-in and Jhin's R can finish off anyone you CC before Smolder's damage comes online.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to wait for Senna to step up for a soul or a Q poke, then hard-engage with E-Q to lock her down while Smolder follows with his E-Q combo — Senna is squishier than Jhin and dying first removes the lane's primary poke threat.
  • Do not engage onto Jhin directly; his W root will interrupt your approach and his 4th shot passive makes him dangerous to dive.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should not roam unless the wave is crashed and Smolder is safe under tower — leaving Smolder alone against Jhin's wave clear and Senna's poke will result in him being zoned off CS and potentially dove.
  • If you do roam, do it only after a successful all-in that burns Jhin and Senna's summoners, giving Smolder a safe window.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not engage when Senna's W is available and off cooldown — her root will interrupt your E mid-dash or lock you down after your Q, turning your all-in into a death sentence.
  • Track her W cooldown before committing, and never engage when both Jhin's W and Senna's W are available simultaneously.
