- Pre-6 you lose most 2v2s due to Zyra's superior poke and zone control with Q-W plants, though level 2 E-Q can catch them off guard if they misposition.
- Post-6 you win all-ins if you land E on either target since your R provides massive lockdown while Zyra's R is more defensive.
Synergy & Trading
- Look for E engages when Zyra uses Q-W aggressively and steps forward, then follow with Q-W-ignite while Ezreal follows up with Q-E-auto combo.
- Your W provides sustain against their poke, so you can afford to take some damage to set up these engages.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam frequently after level 6 since this lane favors farming and Ezreal can safely clear waves with Q.
- Optimal roam timings are when the wave is pushing toward them and your ADC has backed, or when you have vision of jungle skirmishes starting.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't engage without vision of their jungler since Zyra's E-R can turn ganks around, and avoid using E on minions or missing it entirely as your cooldowns are much longer than theirs.
