Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and burst trades, especially at level 2 with W-Q combos that Yone cannot effectively answer.
- Post-6 becomes more skill-dependent as Yone's R gives him gap-close potential to match your mobility, but you still hold the advantage if you respect his all-in windows.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading is W forward for Q-E combo then immediately W back to safety before Yone can respond with his Q3 or extended trades.
- Never stay in melee range after using abilities as Yone wins all extended trades with his passive shield and sustained damage.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish priority and roam timing, but transition to freezing or slow-pushing once Yone gets items since he scales better in side waves.
- You want to create short trade windows rather than long lane states where he can farm safely to his power spikes.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use W aggressively without tracking Yone's Q stacks, as walking into his Q3-W combo while your escape is down results in death.
- Don't get baited into extended trades even when ahead, as his passive shield and sustain damage will turn fights around.
