Who Wins
- You lose short trades early due to Yorick's Q empowered autos and ghoul damage, but win at level 3 when you get your full combo of Q-E-W.
- Post-6 you dominate all-ins with R engage since you can gap close through his W and burst him down before ghouls become relevant.
How to Trade
- Use E to gap close, then immediately Q to pull him back if he tries to disengage, followed by W procs for maximum damage.
- When dismounted, use your bonus resistances to stay in range for Q poke while building Courage, then look for immediate remount trades.
Wave Control
- Let Yorick push early and farm safely, then look for all-in opportunities once you hit level 6 with R available.
- Keep waves in the middle of the lane post-6 to maximize your R engage distance while avoiding his ghouls' minion advantage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't take extended trades without W active as Yorick's ghouls and Q will outdamage your base kit.
- Avoid fighting in large minion waves where his ghouls get additional targets, and don't waste E dash without follow-up damage since the cooldown is significant.
