Who Wins

  • You lose short trades early due to Jax's E blocking your W damage, but you can win if the trade extends.
  • Post-6 you have kill pressure with R engage, especially if you can force him to use E defensively first.

How to Trade

  • Look for extended trades where you can proc multiple W cycles and use Q to stick to him after his Q-E combo.
  • Use R to engage when his E is down or force longer fights where your sustain advantage shows.

Wave Control

  • Let Jax push early so you can farm minions safely for Courage while staying healthy.
  • Once you have R, you can look for all-ins from favorable positions or when he overextends.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't take short trades when Jax has E available as he'll block your main damage source.
  • Avoid getting poked down to dismount range without Courage built up, as you'll be vulnerable to his all-in.
