Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 through superior auto attack range and Q poke, as Veigar has no reliable way to trade back effectively.
- At level 6, you still have the advantage since your ultimate can burst him before he can land his combo, but you must respect his cage positioning.
How to Trade
- You should auto attack + Q whenever Veigar goes for CS, then immediately back off to avoid minion aggro.
- Your W passive allows you to proc thunderlord's easily with auto-Q-auto, but only commit to this when his abilities are on cooldown.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push early to build up minions for level 2/3 all-ins, then reset the wave before level 6.
- After 6, keep the wave in the center or slightly pushed to have room to engage with flash + ultimate without tower interference.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must avoid staying in the same position after using abilities, as good Veigar players will predict your movement with W.
- Never use your ultimate when his Event Horizon is available unless you can guarantee the kill, as getting stunned mid-ultimate is often fatal.
