Who Wins
- You lose early 1v1 trades levels 1-3 due to Jayce's superior damage and range in both forms.
- At level 6, you gain kill pressure with your ultimate but Jayce still wins extended trades if he lands his combo.
How to Trade
- You should poke with Q when Jayce is in ranged form and look for short trades with W-auto when he switches to melee.
- Never commit to extended trades unless you have a significant health advantage or your ultimate available.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze the wave near your tower early to avoid Jayce's poke and all-ins.
- Push hard only when Jayce recalls or roams to prevent him from freezing against you.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must avoid getting hit by Jayce's E-Q combo in ranged form as it chunks your health significantly.
- Don't use your E aggressively without vision of the enemy jungler since you'll have no escape tool.
