Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 through superior range and mobility, able to poke with Q and auto attacks while Cho'Gath struggles to farm safely.
- At level 6, you still maintain the advantage as your ultimate provides burst and escape potential while Cho'Gath's feast requires him to get dangerously close.
How to Trade
- You should poke with Q whenever it's off cooldown, then follow up with auto attacks when Cho'Gath tries to last hit minions.
- Always maintain maximum range and use W to proc your passive marks for additional damage and movement speed.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or freeze the wave near your side of the lane to deny Cho'Gath farm while staying safe from ganks.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you can guarantee a recall timing, as Cho'Gath can easily clear waves with his abilities once he gets some levels.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must never get caught by Cho'Gath's Q knockup, as it leads to his full combo and potentially death even early in the game.
- Don't get greedy for poke when your energy is low, as you'll be vulnerable without escape abilities available.
