Scuttle Contest

  • You lose scuttle fights at level 3 as Darius outdamages you significantly in extended trades and your E won't save you from his ghost+flash engage.
  • From level 6, you only win 1v1s in base form if you can kite perfectly with E through walls and avoid his Q outer ring completely.

Predicted Jungle Path

  • Darius will likely look for early invades after level 3, particularly targeting your bot side jungle if he starts top.
  • He may also attempt to steal your scuttle crab or look for ganks on overextended lanes to snowball his lead.

Invade or Not

  • You should not invade Darius early game as he wins all direct confrontations and can easily run you down in jungle corridors.
  • Focus on efficient clearing and avoid him until you get your transformation and can either burst him (Shadow Assassin) or sustain through his damage (Rhaast).

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't try to fight Darius in open areas where he can land Q outer ring easily and stack his passive.
  • Avoid getting caught in jungle choke points where your E mobility is limited and he can ghost+flash to close gaps.
