LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Zed wins every extended trade and most short trades — your Q slow helps kite but his W shadow repositioning and E poke make it nearly impossible to trade back safely; post-6 your R makes you unkillable during his all-in window, but he can still disengage and wait it out, so you don't suddenly dominate him, you just survive better.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to auto-harass from max range when his W is on cooldown, use Q to slow him if he steps up, and never commit to a full trade without your R available — your damage only becomes meaningful after you stack passive autos, so you need distance and time, both of which Zed actively denies.
Wave Control
- Push the wave consistently to force him under tower where his W shadow usage becomes more telegraphed and his all-in is riskier; a frozen wave near his tower is dangerous for you because he can freely poke and all-in without you having escape room, so prioritize shoving and backing safely over trying to hold a freeze.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R preemptively the moment he jumps — his R has a delay before damage lands, so if you R too early you waste the invulnerability window and die to his follow-up; wait for the actual damage moment, and never walk up to trade without knowing where his W shadow is placed.
