- You win pre-6 through superior range and poke with E auto attacks, as Master Yi has no gap closer and must walk up to trade.
- Post-6 you still maintain the advantage since your R provides safety from his all-in attempts and your ranged DPS outscales his melee combat.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is E auto + Q slow when he walks up for CS, then kite backwards with your range advantage.
- Never allow extended trades where he can stack his passive or land multiple autos with E active.
Wave Control
- Push waves early to establish range control and deny his CS, but transition to freezing near your tower once he hits 6 to avoid ganks.
