Who Wins
- You lose hard levels 1-3 as Aatrox has superior base damage and sustain through his passive and Q combo.
- At level 6, you still lose the all-in since his ultimate provides massive healing and stats while your range advantage isn't enough to kite him yet.
How to Trade
- You should only trade with auto-Q-auto when Aatrox misses his Q1 or Q2, then immediately back off before he can retaliate.
- Never extend trades as his passive healing and base damages will always win extended fights early game.
Wave Control
- You must freeze the wave near your tower and only last-hit minions to avoid Aatrox's engage range.
- Pushing waves early will expose you to his Q combo and jungle ganks, which are almost guaranteed kills given your weak early state.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never try to contest CS when Aatrox has his Q abilities available, as walking up will result in a lost trade or death.
- Don't use your W aggressively for trades since you need it to escape his all-in attempts and jungle ganks.
