Who Wins
- You lose levels 1-3 due to Veigar's superior range with Q poke and your inability to gap close effectively without minions to E to.
- At level 6, you win the all-in if you can dodge his E cage, as your R damage combined with resets will outdamage his burst.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to wait for Veigar to use Q on minions, then E to a low minion near him, Q-W-auto and E back to safety.
- Never engage when his E is available as getting stunned means certain death to his full combo.
Wave Control
- You want to keep the wave in the center or slightly pushing toward you to have minions available for E escapes.
- Avoid hard shoving as this leaves you vulnerable to ganks and removes your escape options while Veigar can safely farm with Q.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never try to all-in Veigar when his E is available, as getting caught in the cage guarantees his full combo will kill you.
- Don't greedily chase kills into unwarded areas as Veigar players often bait near their jungler.
