LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Akshan's range and W passive healing give him a consistent edge in short trades — you cannot reliably all-in him early because he can poke you down, heal off minions with W, and disengage before you stack daggers; post-6, your R becomes a serious threat if you can get close, but his E repositioning and the threat of his R executing you mid-channel means the 1v1 remains contested rather than clearly in your favor.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to force him to use his E aggressively or waste it defensively, then immediately close the gap with your E onto a dagger, proc your passive, and reset out — never commit to a full combo unless his E is on cooldown, as he can simply swing away mid-trade and negate your damage window.
Wave Control
- Push the wave hard and consistently to deny him safe W healing off minions under tower pressure; a frozen wave near his tower is dangerous for you because his range lets him farm safely while poking you for free, so prioritize shoving and roaming to generate leads elsewhere rather than trying to win the lane directly.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E to engage before confirming his E is down — if he has his E available when you jump in, he can reposition mid-combo, dodge your dagger pickups, and punish your cooldowns while you have no escape, turning your all-in into a death.
