Who Wins
- You lose most trades pre-6 due to Yone's superior range and trading tools, but can survive with Q poke and passive shield.
- Post-6 you gain kill pressure with R mobility allowing you to dodge his abilities and chase him down after he uses E.
How to Trade
- You want to Q poke when he goes for CS then back away, using your passive shield to absorb his retaliation.
- After 6, look for R flanks when his E is down or R away from his engage then re-engage when his cooldowns are blown.
Wave Control
- You should focus on farming safely under tower and giving up some CS early rather than taking bad trades.
- Use Q to last hit from range and only contest waves when you have mana shield up or jungle assistance.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You cannot afford to take repeated poke without your passive shield up since Yone can easily all-in you when low.
- Don't waste R aggressively for CS or trades early since the mana cost and cooldown leave you extremely vulnerable to ganks.
