Who Wins

  • Pre-6: Veigar wins through superior range and poke with Q, forcing you into unfavorable trades while stacking AP.
  • Post-6: You win all-ins with R mobility allowing you to dodge his E and burst him down before he can react.

How to Trade

  • Use Q to interrupt his Q casts and reduce magic damage, then follow with E-W combo when his abilities are on cooldown.
  • Wait for him to use E defensively or miss it before committing to extended trades.

Wave Control

  • Let him push early levels to farm safely under tower, then freeze the wave near your tower post-6 to create all-in opportunities.
  • Avoid shoving waves into him as it gives him free Q stacks and makes you vulnerable to ganks.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't try to trade aggressively pre-6 when he has his full combo available and you lack escape tools.
  • Never R directly into his E cage as you'll be stunned and take his full burst combo.
