Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 trades heavily as Fizz can E over your Q poke and all-in you with ignite.
- Post-6 you win extended trades if you can survive his initial burst, as your R gives you mobility to kite and your passive reduces his magic damage.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is Q poke when Fizz uses E aggressively or to farm, then immediately back off before he can retaliate.
- After 6, look for R-Q-W trades when his E is down, using your ultimate to escape his all-in potential.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze the wave near your tower pre-6 to farm safely with Q, avoiding extended trades in the middle of the lane.
- Post-6 you can start slow pushing to build up minions for roam timings, but respect Fizz's dive potential under tower.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use Q to farm minions when Fizz has E available, as this removes your only interrupt for his all-in combo.
- Avoid face-checking brushes or river without vision post-6, as Fizz's R-E-Q combo can 100-0 you before you can react with R.
