Who Wins
- Brand wins levels 1–3 with his superior range and wave control, so you usually get pushed in and poked out if you misposition.
- At level 6 you gain kill pressure, but the matchup still depends on whether you dodge Brand’s W or Q with R.
How to Trade
- Use Q to interrupt Brand’s W or Q and take short trades (Q + auto then back off) to avoid letting him stack his passive.
- Post-6, only extend trades when you can use R to dodge his spells and break his combo before it lands.
Wave Control
- You should focus on last-hitting under tower and giving up CS to avoid poke damage early game.
- Let Brand push the wave into you naturally since you can't match his waveclear until you have items and levels.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never try to trade without your Q shield up, as Brand's burst damage will chunk you heavily.
- Don't use your ultimate aggressively without vision of the enemy jungler, as you're extremely vulnerable to ganks when your escape is on cooldown.
