Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through consistent Q poke and E shield trades, as Volibear has no gap closer besides flash and struggles with sustained damage.
- Post-6 becomes much harder since his R gives him massive stats and gap closing potential that your R+E movement speed cannot reliably escape.
How to Trade
- Poke with Q when he goes for CS, then immediately E yourself for the shield and movement speed to create distance before he can retaliate.
- Use R+Q for maximum damage when he's low or R+E when he engages to maximize your escape potential.
Wave Control
- Maintain a freeze just outside your tower range to force Volibear to overextend for CS while you poke him down safely.
