Who Wins
- Pre-6, you have a meaningful advantage because your mobility lets you dodge Nautilus Q and your rend stacks punish him in extended trades, but Jhin's W root is a real threat if Renata fails to peel; post-6, Nautilus R removes your mobility entirely and Jhin R will kill you if you are caught, so the 2v2 flips against you.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to stack rend on both Nautilus and Jhin through repeated short trades, then activate rend when they overcommit; use your passive dashes to stay perpendicular to Jhin's W trajectory so he cannot easily root you, and force Nautilus to waste Q before engaging.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Freeze the wave near your tower when possible to deny Nautilus Q angles and force him to overextend to engage; a frozen wave also lets you safely stack rend on minions and poke Jhin who has no reliable escape if Nautilus is baited forward.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R on Nautilus as a panic button when he is already on top of you — by the time he reaches you his passive is already proccing, and your R requires setup time that you will not have; save it for a coordinated engage or to interrupt Jhin's R channel.
