LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Vladimir wins most extended trades due to his sustain from Q and your inability to burst him down before he heals back up; your level 3 all-in with Q-Q-E is your best window but Vladimir's W can negate it entirely if he uses it correctly.
- Post-6, you gain significant kill pressure with R's displacement and damage amplification, but Vladimir's R healing and burst can still outduel you if he has Corrupting Potion stacks and you mistime your engage.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is short, aggressive Q pokes to stack your passive, then committing to a full combo only when Vladimir's W is on cooldown — his W is a 26-second cooldown early and completely invalidates your all-in if he uses it mid-combo.
- Use E to close the gap and prevent him from simply walking away after you initiate, and never extend a trade when he has his R available.
Wave Control
- Push the wave early to deny Vladimir his passive farm under tower, as he struggles to last-hit efficiently under pressure and his wave clear is mediocre pre-Hextech Rocketbelt.
- Shoving also forces him to use abilities to clear, depleting his sustain resources and reducing his ability to trade back effectively.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not engage when Vladimir has Corrupting Potion active and his W available simultaneously — this is the scenario where he wins almost every trade regardless of your combo execution.
- Burning your full combo into his W leaves you with long cooldowns and no defensive tools while he sustains back to full health.
