Who Wins
- You win early trades levels 1-3 with your Q poke and W shield, making it easy to establish lane dominance.
- At level 6, you maintain advantage as your R provides excellent counter-engage potential against Rengar's all-in attempts.
How to Trade
- You should poke with Q whenever Rengar approaches minions and use W to block his empowered Q damage.
- When he jumps on you, immediately R to knock him away and follow up with your combo while he's displaced.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or neutral wave state to keep Rengar away from bushes while still being able to farm safely.
- Avoid hard pushing as it gives Rengar bush control and makes you vulnerable to ganks.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You cannot waste your R defensively too early as Rengar can wait for the cooldown and re-engage when you're vulnerable.
- Never face-check bushes without vision as Rengar can stack Ferocity on minions and burst you with a surprise engage.
