Who Wins
- Ashe + Pyke wins pre-6 due to Ashe's superior range (600 vs 525) and Pyke's hook threat forcing you into defensive positioning.
- Post-6 the matchup shifts slightly in your favor as your R provides better teamfight impact than Ashe's R, but Pyke's execute still makes all-ins dangerous.
Synergy & Trading
- Use W to poke when Pyke is out of hook range, then immediately switch to rockets for extended trades when Sona lands Q.
- Your best trading windows are when Pyke misses Q or uses it on minions, allowing you to step forward with rockets for 2-3 autos before retreating.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push early levels to hit 2 first and establish rocket range advantage, then maintain a slow push to build minion advantage.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you have deep wards, as Pyke excels at setting up ganks in side brushes.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never stand in line with minions against Pyke Q, and don't get baited into chasing low-health enemies when Pyke is missing.
- His E + flash engage range is deceptively long and can turn your aggressive positioning into a death sentence.
