- Xayah-Brand wins pre-6 through Brand's superior poke damage and Xayah's feather setup combos that you cannot effectively counter.
- Post-6 remains difficult as Brand R plus Xayah R creates unavoidable burst damage that outscales your rocket range advantage.
Synergy & Trading
- Use rocket form Q to farm safely from maximum range while Mel uses Q to poke and clear waves.
- When Mel lands E root, immediately switch to minigun form and commit to the all-in since the root duration allows full damage combo execution.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push waves aggressively with rocket Q when Mel has Q available to match Brand's waveclear.
- Avoid slow-pushing into them since Brand W-E combo will chunk you heavily while you're farming under tower.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never fight when Mel W is on cooldown since Brand's poke will force you out of lane.
- Positioning too aggressively for CS when Xayah has feathers behind you will result in guaranteed death from her E-W combo.
