Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Draven's level 2 spike with Q is your most dangerous window — if he gets two axes going before Lux has her Q, you can be burst down faster than you expect; once Lux has Q and you both hit level 3, you have a strong poke-and-disengage pattern that Draven hates because he can't freely chase; post-6, your R and Lux's R give you kill threat across the entire map and you outscale Draven hard in extended fights.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to use rockets (Q) to poke Draven off his axes from outside his threat range, forcing him to choose between catching axes and taking damage — once he's below 60% HP, Lux roots him and you switch to minigun for sustained DPS to finish the kill.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Let Seraphine push the wave into you early and hold a slight freeze near your tower — this denies Draven his preferred all-in range, forces him to walk up into Lux's root range, and lets you scale safely into your power spikes.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your E (Flame Chompers) reactively when Draven is already on top of you — place them proactively in his catch paths or at chokepoints before he engages, because a Draven who ignores the chompers and takes the root will still kill you if your positioning was already bad.
