Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you have a real advantage: your W root into 4th shot is a reliable poke and kill threat, and Corki lacks the burst or mobility pre-Sheen to punish you for aggressive positioning.
  • Post-6, the lane becomes harder — Corki's R missiles let him poke from outside your W range, and Zilean's R removes your primary kill condition (bursting someone down), so you need to play for picks rather than straight 2v2 fights.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to use W to root Corki when he overextends or uses his W aggressively, then immediately follow with your 4th shot for maximum damage.
  • Avoid extended trades where Corki can proc Sheen repeatedly and use E to shred your armor — your damage is front-loaded and you lose sustained fights.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You want to maintain a slow-push or freeze on the wave to keep Corki close to your tower, limiting his ability to safely poke with R missiles and forcing him into your W root range.
  • A frozen wave also denies Corki the ability to shove and roam, which matters because Zilean's roam potential with R is genuinely dangerous.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not position predictably in a straight line — Zilean's double Q stun requires two bombs to land on the same target, and erratic movement makes it much harder for him to execute.
  • Standing still or walking in a straight line while Zilean has Q up is how you get stunned and deleted in this matchup.
