Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Caitlyn's range and Nami's poke make levels 1-2 very difficult — you are shorter-ranged than Caitlyn and your 4th shot is your only reliable burst window, which Nami can heal through.
  • Post-6, your R is a strong threat but Caitlyn's R also has long range and Nami's R can interrupt yours, so the post-6 2v2 is still unfavorable unless you have a significant lead or catch them out of position.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to bait out Nami's W by having Senna take a small trade, then immediately commit with your 4th shot into Senna's Q root for a burst window — Caitlyn cannot out-sustain a full combo if Nami's heal is on cooldown.
  • Never use your W root as an opener; save it to chain after Senna's Q lands so the enemy has no time to react.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave aggressively with your passive crits to force Caitlyn under tower, which reduces her ability to freely place E traps in the lane — a pushed wave also denies Nami safe positioning to poke.
  • However, avoid overextending past the wave when pushing since Nami's R can set up a gank that your immobility makes nearly impossible to escape.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not waste your 4th shot on minions in a trade setup — entering a fight with only 1-3 bullets and no 4th shot ready means you deal significantly reduced damage and Caitlyn can freely trade back.
  • Your immobility is your biggest liability; never walk up to trade without knowing where the enemy jungler is, as Nami's R into a gank is an instant kill on you.
